A list of my current insurance panels for both states can be found here. In addition to the plans on this page, I can accept Moda in Oregon. I am also in the process of becoming credentialed with Kaiser in Oregon.
I do not accept insurance for couples therapy.

Why do some people choose to pay out-of-pocket for therapy?
3
Paying privately for therapy is beneficial in a number of ways: you aren’t required to have a diagnosis, and an insurance company isn’t making the decisions about your care on your behalf. Insurance companies also have access to your chart and session notes, whereas with private pay, your chart belongs only to you. They also want you to be making progress in a particular way, on linear and quantifiable goals - when the reality of the work is not linear or easily quantifiable. These are all reasons some clients choose to pay privately for their care, but I am happy to accept insurance for those who can’t or don’t want to pay out of pocket.
What is a superbill and how does it work?

Some insurance plans offer reimbursement for out-of-network care. Some clients can receive a large portion or all of their therapy fee back from their insurance company even if their therapist is out-of-network. I am unable to guarantee if your insurance company reimburses you, or how much they might reimburse, but I am happy to share my information with you so that you can call your insurance company ahead of starting with me to see if they would reimburse for our work together. You would then pay out-of-pocket for each session and I will give you an invoice that you then submit to your insurance company.
