FAQ
Do you take my insurance? I am not currently paneled with any insurance companies but this may change in the future.
Do you offer sliding scale? Yes, I have a limited number of sliding scale slots for those with financial need. If you have a need for sliding scale, let's talk and figure out what might work best.
Why do so few therapists accept insurance? There are many reasons. Insurance can be a helpful way to make therapy accessible, but it also comes with drawbacks. For example, in order for me to bill insurance, I would have to give you a DSM-V diagnosis, the number of sessions we can have may be limited, and I would have to share your personal session information with the insurance company. Not billing insurance allows you more flexibility, privacy, and ownership over your therapy.
What forms of payment do you accept? I primarily bill using Ivy Pay, a payment platform for therapists where you can pay using your credit or debit card.
